Strange A/C and Heater Issue

First off this is NOT the common replacement of Motorcraft YH-1779 Motor Assy issue. They both have been replaced on the right side and corrected a hot air issue on the right side for a few months when using the A/C.

This is something new.

Vehicle is a 2010 Ford Taurus Limited with dual temperature controls using the center GPS screen by pressing the Climate button.

If I don’t set different temperatures for driver and passenger and select AUTO (60 degree for cooling) the right dash vents blow HOT air. Left drivers work great as A/C.

Now the strange part!

If I push the Climate button and select DUAL the issue is the same, however if the manually change the passenger setting ramping it up to 90 degree and then back down to 60 degree (same as drivers) it starts blowing A/C and will remains working correctly until vehicle is turned off and restarted.

Any suggestions? Would not be surprised if none. Some type of sensor issue? THANKS

There must be inside temperature sensors for both driver and passenger for dual controls on this model. Any info on this for replacement?
