I want to buy a cd changer. Would it be better for me to buy a stock cd changer from Ford, or buy an aftermarket one, and buy the appropriate wiring harness? What would be the benefits of the aftermarket CD changer as apposed to the Ford? (MP3 Capability would be a +)I'm really only interested in a 6 disc changer also if that matters, I have no need for 10. Thanks

Nick Saturday

P.S.- Could anyone point me to what cd changer with OR without MP3 capability would work for me, and the wiring harness necessary to hook it up.

I didn't have a cd in my gen II. When I bought my 00SES Ibought the 10 cd changer thinking the 6 would have been just as good. I spend a lot of time in my car and 10 cds isn't enough. I am getting XM in a couple of weeks. Have to wait on expense money to build up as my wife is watching the check book and credit card statements pretty close.
