Here's the original thread i started.

I havent had the knock for a week, and ive put about 300 miles on my car since the problem started, but the light is still on. The car is hesitant when i accelerate unless i ease into the gas...but this is only when im accelerating from a stop or slow roll.

I think something just might be dirty...any more ideas?

If you don't have the Hayne's manual here is what it says:

Hesitation or stuble during acceleration

1. Ignition system not operating properly
2. Dirty or clogged fuel injectors
3. Low fuel pressure. Check for proper operation of the fuel pump and for restrictions in the fuel filter and lines.
4. Fuel injection or engine control system malfunction.

Hope this helps

You're not still using that resistor are you? It could be a fuel problem that the O2's are picking up and your air/fuel mixture is too rich and it maybe what's causing your hesitation problem.

Another thing, it's possible that the trans rebuild wasn't a success, because it seems like it might be slipping. The 1st or 2nd power band is damaged. It's hard to trust or find a good reputible transmission specialist that won't screw it up. AAMCO has a bad rap for doing crappy work. It's better to buy a used or factory rebuilt transmission. It will cost you less than most rebuilds because there is less labor charge.
