I just got new tires and noticed while driving that when I accelerate I pull to the left pretty hard and when I break I pull to the right. I would think it should pull no matter what if the alignment was off but it only does it when changing speed(accelerating or breaking). Anyone have any advice for fixing this problem.

Check your tie rod ends. My Escort did the same thing. A new tie rod end and alignment fixed it right up.

Also check your subframe mounts, and engine/trans mounts.

I am betting the subframe mounts are bad.

This is the same problem i had till i look under the car and saw my subframe had broken off from the mount and the control arm bolt that holds it to the subframe was rusted away and busted so the whole car would pull one way when gassing and pull back the other way when braking......subframe/.

Maybe that Suburban punching your car in the nose was the final indignity, Skeeter. Maybe you should consider replacing the car....oh, and peddle is when you have something to sell. Pedal is that thing on the floor that makes the car go. There's one to make it stop, too.

Thanks for correcting me in a nice manner. If the subframe is broke I might have to replace the car there's only so much i can afford.
