I believe it's fuse is #15 on the block... but that also controls licence plate lamps and I have those ON still.

I believe there's two wires, grey/white, on the right-hand side of the trunklid right underneath the spoiler. There's a connector inside the lower lid, I'm going to try a voltage test later tonight.

Any inline fuses after the fuseblock? chilton's doesn't touch it (surprise surprise). Suggestions or experience?

Is this the LED brake light in your SHO?

Those seem like they are a pretty common thing to go out. I would say test your wires and if they work okay, then take out the LED strip (if thats possible) and touch the wires to your battery and see if they light up still. I bought some LED strips at a parts yard and some of them were just completely burnt out, and others worked fine. I used the battery test and that saves a lot of confusion if the lights are burnt out.
