My 1999 Taurus is missing some axle nut covers. Of the 4, only the left rear is in place. It is a black plastic cap very similar to the old style (RWD) front wheel bearing caps. Can anyone tell me if both the front and rear hubs are supposed to have these covers? Also, does anyone have an OEM part number, and are these available in aftermarket? I've looked high and low on the internet and can't find anything on these caps. Thanks

I never had any on the front. Both rears do though. Should be a common part at say AutoZone.

Topic resurrection.

I have been finding part Number F3DZ-1N135-A around alot.
I see it listed mostly for 1994 - 2004 Mustangs.

I have looked and the local auto part's stores don't have either side listed. Also dorman products (HELP!) doesn't list one for a Taurus after 1989.

Has anyone come across a cheap aftermarket replacement for the grease cap/dust cap?
