hi,

are you using 3/8" drive socket ?

best to try 1/2" drive with a longer breaker bar
instead of the ratchet handle.

since the engine is cold and you can't run it,
try some liquid wrench to free up any corrosion.

the socket could have slipped a bit off center
and caused the insulator to snap off.

watch out, very very sharp ceramic !

james
