do i have to remove other parts just to reach cylinders 1, 2 and 3 for spark plug wires removal?

please help

You shouldn't have to. I did it in my GL without too much trouble. Only problem was getting the wires through the small space under the intake.

You have a Vulcan, correct? You should be able to just reach around the back and unplug them. :)

If you want to use the spark plug wire channel, then you have to pull off the intake tubing to the TB, then there are two nuts that hold the channeling onto the TB. take them off, and the whole plastic channel comes out. If you don't care, then just cut the old wires out, and you don't have to remove anything. You can reach the rear plugs and wires by leaning over the passengere side fender. I have changed out plugs on my 97 GL about three or four times, and I can do it now in about 15 mins. total, including gapping the plugs (copper plugs).
