None of the connectors match up to my 03. The two-pin connectors for the power seat motors don't match and the 6-pin/4-pin connectors on the driver/passenger side for the air bag/supplemental restraint system didn't match either.

I would hate to have to match up and straight-wire every connection point, especially given the fact I like to remove the interior of my cars when I clean them inside and out. So does anyone have any workarounds?

Regardless, here are the pics:

Doh, the old seats are already gone, so can't harvest the frame or seat belt module.

Going to have to hit a junkyard for that, I guess. Went for a drive today and also discovered the G4 seat belts don't match to the G3 SHO seats, they don't secure.

As far as the connectors for the lumbar and power seat, I found Motorcraft part numbers for those pigtails and ordered those.

TBH, you may want to head to your nearest pull a part, and harvest the whole seat track and leave the seat back and butt cushion from there. Then unbolt/rebolt the SHO seats to the frame with the correct stuff there. Once you've done that, splice in the lumbar power to the current power wire. This way, the seat track position sensor is good, the seat belt pretensioners are good, and no flashy airbag crap. Do the same for the passenger side.

Hey did you get those seats from a 1996 silver SHO in "northern" NC?

Like Sheila said, Vash/Sable23 and myself have some pics of how to dissassemble and splice in...should be under good 'ol Topic Finder. Not sure how much you are going to enjoy splicing, esp since you are missing two or three components per seat that contribute to the airbag operation.

dont cut or splice any airbag wiring. you would just be asking for trouble.

as for my seats my drivers one i used the gen 4 seat base and buckle and then wired the lumbar control to the seat side of the harness. the passengers side i used the sho seat base but swapped over the buckle and cut the harness from the donor car so that it would not have to be hard wired in.

Cool man! You lucked out. I saw that car and those seats on EBay and craigslist. I just couldn't make the trip with timing and all, plus I had nothing for them to go into. You most definitely lucked out.

FYI, I'm rolling through Gastonia President's Day weekend on my way up to Boone...
