wouldent consider that a small block, but i have not yet herd of it yet....anyone else?!
I've never heard of anyone doing that before. Most V8's simply won't fit in a Taurus. Heck, look at the tiny 60 degree 3.4L V8's in the SHO...they barely even fit.

But...of course anything is possible with enough fabrication and $$$.

Exactly. That ain't no small block. I was stuck on the Continental V8 for a while despite the protests of many knowledgeable TCCA'ers who said it would never fit. I didn't believe them until I came across this picture. *HINT* The 302 itself would be very tight fit and you'd have to do a lot of relocation to get it in.

The blocks look to be about the same, it's just those gigantic heads.

What AED did to make a LS1 v8 fit into a grand am they put it in a s-10 and then put the grand am shell on top of it.

So I guess you can do the same to a ranger

The Taurus and the Ranger share no dimension similarities, so that's going to be a little difficult.
Are you sure that's an LS1? I've never seen an LS1 with TPI.
