Ok, here's the first rough side view. Post your opinions on what needs to be added, removed, or changed here.

Looks good! If I had to change anything, I would...

1) Raise the roof in the front... I'm 6'4" and there's no way I'm fitting in there unless I open the sunroof.

2)STTTRRRRRRETCH the passenger cabin by about a foot. It looks great, but if it's a Taurus, it's going to need a comfy back seat.

Lengthen the wheelbase a little, reduce the steep rake in the front windshield a little and shorten the front overhang a little bit, make the rear doors a little bit longer for easier access (maybe eliminate the little port window in the back?), lenghthen the trunk area a little bit to reduce the bulge. Also, maybe put some more curves into the side sills, like the Gen 1's used to have, and maybe make the front valence a little more edgy (not ricer edgy, but the new Toyota solara king of edgy). I like the taillights and the trunk spoiler however
.

Front end looks a little like the Austin Martin Vanquish. The overall shape is really nice; reminds a little of the Gen3, but without the fish comparisons, while having a bit more of a flair than the Gen4. I know it has nothing to do with the car's design, but those wheels and tires have to go
Need smaller rims with a little more rubber to balance out those tiny brakes (or make the brakes bigger...or do both!
)

EDIT: oh yeah...keep those side vents!!!

Ok, I know the wheels need to go. My little bro borrowed my circle template and lost it so the wheels are gonna have to stay for now. Here's what I've got so far.

Is it me, or does the rear remind anyone else of a '70s Corvette[/b]

I was thinking almost GT40

I wanted to experiment with a new look, perhaps even slightly original for the Taurus SHO. The gen 4 would never qualify to be built as an SHO. I think I'm gonna change the Headlights. They scream asian.

It looks a little bit like a four door version of an eclipse to me.

cowl hood
I'd like to do that, but I think Cowl is a thing specific to Chevy. Just correct my if I'm wrong.

I just changed the headlights, added mirrors, and made the tires bigger & rims smaller. I'll scan the image latter.

Nope, almost every car made since the forties has a cowl. I don't really like cowl induction hoods, though.

I'll make two versions then. One with cowl and one without.
Also, I forgot to mention the engine packages available.
1. 3.5L 6 Cyl with Intercooler and turbo + Auto Transmission only
2. 5.0 8 Cyl with Supercharger + Auto or Manual Transmission

Cowl refers to the vent at the base of the windshield. Like I said, almost all cars have it stock. That's how the climate control/heater gets its air. You are talking about a Cowl Induction hood, with an air intake at the rear edge of the hood.
