How comfortable are the seats in a SHO? Ive been looking at them, and they look like they will give good lateral support(something my seats definately DONT do). Are theycomfortable? How about on a long trip? Is there any differance between years?

8 way movement, side lumbar and lateral lumbar (air bladders)

If you don't like the way it feels, pump some air in your back and it feels like a totally different seat.

My Thunderbird SC has the same thing, and any other car without them feels odd to me :)

one more reason why a sho is much more unique than a mustang. When's the last time you heard a mustang guy say how comfortable there stock seats were. :lol2:

I can vouch for the long period comfort level.. 2000+ mile made only one real stop (not including stops for gas) .. it's like sleeping on air.. and my brother happens to have a mustang.. I like his seats a lot.. 91 LX 5.0. but it might just be the hard suspension feel that I like..

no....gen 1 and 2 are more supportive and feel and look more sporty...gen 3 are still supportive but are much more luxurious in feel and look....kinda like sitting in a supportive lazy boy :lol2:

I had sho seats in my 95se. Those were the best seats I have ever sat in in terms of how well they hold you in. Comfort, definitly up there as #2 on the list, as my dad's lexus is obviously better. I am talking about gen2 seats, I dont know how good the gen3's are. I know the gen3's dont have the side support like the gen1/2's. Its a shame ford doesn't makes these seats any more :(
