Sho Cam Weld

So at the beginning of the year i decided that the amount of effort and money going into keeping my 3.8 in working condition was ridiculous. I've been searching for a new car since then and mainly looking at Mustang GTs and stuff like that, but I've happened onto a 97 SHO with 71000 miles on it. I was just wondering how hard is it to weld the cams? How much does it cost? One other thing, when i test drive this beast what things (possible problems, etc) should i be looking for. I figure that if anyone knew you guys would. Thanks for your help :notworthy:

It's about $500 or so to get your cams welded, here's a list of people who do it.

Check out v8sho.com, they have a lot of information. They had a "what to look for" article at some point, but I can't find it now. Maybe you'll have more luck. :thumb:
