If I had to do it again, I would have pushed it down with my hands, then used some sort of tape to clamp it. It really doesn't need much force, but the Gorilla Glue takes 3-4 hours to completely set.

Gorilla Snot is mechanic-speak for the 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive (the yellow stuff), not Gorilla Glue. They call it Gorilla Snot because it looks like snot (esp when you try to wipe it off your fingers!) and it is sticky as heck. The 3M stuff is essentially a very viscous and tough contact cement, so it sets much faster than Gorilla Glue.

You need a new dash. Since the plastic has cracked, there's really no way to repair it to the point where it's going to look good.

Get a Chilton's manual and figure out how to remove and replace the dash. It's a pretty in-depth process, and takes a ton of time.

They make vinal repair products that you can mix to color-match. They are usually for repairing leather or vinal furnature. I don't know how good it would look, but it's a cheap thing to try. ;)
