Hi, I am in the southeast region, GA to be exact. I was looking at the above map and was wondering why North Carolina isn't part of the Southeast. Tennessee is and NC is the natural progression for the border of the SE. Just curious.

When the TCCA was set up, they divided the nation into regions. Those are the regions you now see.

Is there any chance NC could be moved into the SE chapter? I'm much closer to meetings in GA/AL and even FL than any place that would meet in the NE. Not only that, but my parents just moved down to GA, so I'll be there much more than I'd be up north again. If not, is there any chance that just I could be put in the SE chapter?

As far as moving North Carolina to the Southeast region, that is something that would need to be discussed with Bob or Doc. I think it was Doc who originally made up the regional map. You folks in NC are more than welcome to post here in the Southeast Chapter forums and attend any future meets we may have.

ig88ds, just wondering, are you still the president of the Southeast chapter?

By the way, I live in Cobb County outside of Atlanta, GA.

I have stepped down as prez because I don't have the time to do anything, plus I rarely venture into the forums anymore. Because of this, Smola is now prez unless anybody thinks there should be an election for a new prez.
