as for the part about making the antenna go up only with the radio.....every aftermarket radio ive installed does this...if yours does not, it is the radio...nothin you can do.

As for the black wire and the yellow wire....well, lack is ground, and yellow is constant 12v.

what i meant to say was, every radio ive hooked up functions like i am about to describe.

the blue wire (antenna output) from the radio will cause the antenna to go up ONLY during radio usage, not cd.

the blue with white stripe (amp turn on output) will cause the antenna to go up with radio or cd (whenever the radio is on.)


so either you are wiring it wrong, yor you have a cheap radio that does not do what you want.

IN SHORT: to answer your question...no there is nothing you can do other than check your wiring
