I had a code show up on my scanner that I have never seen before, nor can I find it in any search. It is "U0BCB". Has anyone seen that before, or did I read it completely wrong? It got it when the P0401 code showed up,(fixing that next week) and I went to clear it.

Thanks for any help or info anyone can give me.

Welcome to TCCA.

"U" codes are a "Network" code.

What did you do to your scanner????

"E" mail the scanner manufacturer & ask them what specifically it's for.

I have a scangauge II installed. My other scanner did not pick up these codes. I have emailed the company and will wait to see what they say. Thanks for the help.

Was the "U" code found with the Scangauge????
If so, it sounds like a connectivity problem with the Scangauge ll.

Did you have a CEL lit???? If not, the P0401 may be a bogus code, especially with the "U" code present.

If the CEL was lit, the P0401 code is for insufficient EGR flow & an acting out DPFE sensor, EVR, system inter connecting vacuum lines, electrical connections & lastly the EGR valve, in about that order are the usual suspects on the list.

Would be interesting to hear what you find for both.
