Quick question...

I have a 1998 Sable GS with the Duratec. Seems very 'plain Jane' so to speak.

I've also seen some Sable GS with the Vulcan.

I've also seen some Sable LS with the Duratec, leather, the whole works.

I've also seen some Sable LS with the Vulcan, cloth, and 'plain Jane'.

Which is the 'entry level', so to speak? Do I have a top-of-the-line 'entry level', or an entry-level 'top of the line'???

1996-97 Sables G/GS got the Vulcan, and the GS gave you the option for Leather
1998, sable g was dropped, sable GS wagon was gone, and GS/LS were the only models. Both had duratec as an option, but the LS had more standard
1999, GS wagon was back, but GS wagon and sedan did not have the Duratec as an option.

I have a LS, but not a whole lot of options, unfortunately...the only thing that's great about not having all options is that I didn't get electronic climate controls, and therefore was able to put in my own aftermarket stereo. The only thing I really wish I had was the sunroof.
