The other day I pulled the lights off a gen 3 sable from the grill. We put them on our gen 4 Taurus. I think it looks pretty cool. They are wired up as driving lights for during the day and night.

And MAN look how bright those silverstars are.
You can really tell in the second pic. The turn signal is a white light bulb. The headlight is a silverstar. Look how yellow the turn signal is compared to the silverstar.

Bobby likey!
Those lights are just begging for a wig wag controller too. Doesn't sylvania offer a Silverstar in that bulb size? I thought I read somewhere about that.

Looks good, but I hate those on my car and they are going as soon as I get the front bumper off for a repaint.

Twilight- You don't need to remove the bumper to take them off. Two philips head screws remove them. They can be seen from the front of the car. I'd say it takes literally less than a minute to remove them.

Yes they light up BRIGHT like the GM day time lights. I will take a picture of them during the day. They light up much, much, MUCH brither than the turn signals.

We were going to wire them up as turn signals, but decided against it. I wired them up into an independent switch, so I can turn them off and on whenever I want.

Did not take them off a car in the parking lot. ;-)

And wig-wags are coming soon.

Bob-Sylvania does offer turn singals in that size, and I've been looking into it. I just checked out their site last night after the install, and they said see your local retailer. <_<
