i'm trying to remove my y-pipe and just wondering which penitrating spay everyone uses and which one works the best. i've tried the 2 bolts that connect the y-pipe to the rest of the exhaust and they are not going to budging and i'm going to have to get the stripped bolt removers for those since they are rounded off. i just want to know so when i try to get the other ones out.

I always use PB Blaster. It has always worked for me by loading it on, covering the bolt for a few days before you want to take it apart and sometimes a little heat helps it work better. So far thats the best one I have used. :thumb:

pb blaster, besides no dumb wand like wd 40.

I just heated mine up till it was red hot with a blowtorch and turned it fast.

WD40 or PBBlaster.

If it's real bad, heat it up with a torch then let it cool down a bit and try to remove.

You will not find a better lubricant available for automotive use. Buy the marine grade stuff. It's even better than the automotive grade.
