Hello,My 2006 taurus is finally fixed,as many of you know i have been working on this problem for a long time. I and the dealer have replaced many parts trying to figure this out,but at last got it fixed.it was the manifold air control valve on the back of the manifold.i took it off and jumped it across the battery and nothing ,it didnot work.I ordered a new one and that was it.Works fine now(car still has a little bouncing needle at idle,it was this way from when it was new)but i can live with that. Thanks Very much for everyones help.its very much apprecated

manifold air control valve or Idle air control valve?

I replaced my idle air control valve and mine still stumbles at take off or idle but runs great at highway speeds. Can you post a pic of what you replaced?
