My dad and I recently did a second brake job on my moms 1997 Mercury Sable GS. He decided it was a better deal to replace the rotors rather than have the old ones resurfaced. I took the old ones.

The inside of one of my rotors on my '93 Gl is scored pretty bad. The car has new pads on it so I figure the previous owner must have let them get really low before replacing them. Anyway, I want to put the rotors from the '97 Sable on the '93 Taurus but the '93s are smaller. Once I have them resurfaced, will the larger rotors fit without replacing the caliper and/or pads? Thanks guys.

simple answer.... No.

Check the SHO forums for information about older SHO's using later model front brakes. That would be applicable to your car.
