I'm looking to put a roof rack and cargo box on a trip i'm making in my 03 sedan.
I'm looking at either getting a Thule or Yakima rack. They look like they fit the exact same, except the Thule sits 11 inches back whereas the Yakima sits 6 inches back from the windshield. Both have a 30in spread between the bars, but the Yakima requires stretch kit.
I am leaning towards the Yakima wo/ the stretch kit since the round bard will make it easier to clam stuff on the rack w/ the curved roof. Yakima says the stretch kit is necessary, but i think they just want up sell you to bigger boxes.
What's everyone thoughts? Does one work better w/ the bull than the other?
