Soo.... I went to plug in my reverse lights because I was sick of not having any and they don't work...

I couldn't find the voltometer thingy so I'm not sure if it's the bulbs or wiring or what,

but if something is wrong, where should I look first? (fuses, etc.?)

Fuse first, then bulbs, then plugs, then wiring. You need a voltmeter to test the wiring and plugs. Fuses and bulbs can be visually checked (although an ohmmeter would come in handy to test it if it's not obviously broken).

Well, the fogs first, but then I tried hooking up a bulb and it still didn't work.

What fuse is it on, and is anything else on the fuse? I looked at the box under the dash and didn't see anything labeled reverse lights. Is it under the hood? I forgot to check there, but I need to get to school so no time to check right now.

The reverse lights are on the same fuse as other things, so unless you have other stuff that doesn't work, it's not the fuse. Check the black/pink wire coming out of the TRS - with the key in run and the tranny in reverse, that wire should have 12v coming out - it's the power feed to the reverse lights. If the wire doesn't have power, check the orange wire - it's the power feed from the fuse to the TRS for the reverse lights. If you have power on the orange wire but not the black/pink wire, you can loosen the bolts holding down the TRS and move it slightly to see if you can adjust it for them to work. If you can't get power on the wire by adjusting the switch, then it's junk. If you don't have power on the orange wire, and the fuse is ok, then you have a wiring problem somewhere between the TRS and the fuse panel under the dash. If you have power coming out of the TRS but not at the reverse light sockets, then you'll have to start following the wiring there. There's a splice in the black/pink wire to the reverse sockets in the harness near where the wire for the rear defroster splits off. Check that splice for corrosion.

Yeah that's what I couldn't fire out, because everything else worked fine???

Last night I figured out what went wrong... opening and closing the trunk (everyday to get my school stuff out) weakened and detached the connection. :p

I felt dumb.... but now everythings working :)
