If you can change your spark plugs, you can do it. AutoZone.com actually has great instructions. All you need is a torque wrench and some silicone gasket sealer. The pump itself is cheap enough (<$25 IIRC.) GO for it!
Just did my 95. Removw winshield washer/radiator res Use a box wrench and first thing loosen pump pulley bolts. Whack the tesion pulley with a steel rod and mallet to put some slack in serpentine and pull serpentine out of the way some. Remove tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Take the hose off the pump inlet. Start taking pump bolts out. Take pump off when you got all the bolts out and throw it away. Scrape off old gasket. Steel wool the mating surfaces. Put Permatex on both mating surfaces, along with new gasket. Bolt new on. Replace your pulleys. Look at the sticker by the radiator that shows belt touting and put your serpy back on. Whack the tensioner back the other direction to tighten serpentine up.Slip on and clamp your inlet hose. Stick the washer resevoir back in a fill the radiator up. Your done until the next thing goes on it, probably the alternator next.

Umm... no. You can use a ratchet to loosen the tensioner. No whacking please.
