I am replacing my coolant tank with a new one and the last time i took it out to take a look at it i noticed there was a lot of gunk around that large hose at the bottom of the tank. I was wondering if that is an easy hose to replace and what i might have to remove to take it off.

I might not replace it if i have to take the front off the car.

According to RockAuto its a 39 inch hose

MOTORCRAFT Part # KM4667
{#1F1E8C351CA, 1F1Z8075CA} Length 39", Dia 11/16"
OHV; D-Gas Bottle to Intake

You just have to remove the coolant tank. The hose will snake down to the lower radiator hose where it connects.

It would be easier if the bumper was removed.

Is the front bumper easy to remove?

Can i even attempt to replace the hose with everything in place on the front end, maybe removing the front air dam under there obviously like i do when i drain the radiator.
