Welp, it was scary cutting into that thing, I was worried I would screw up and have ugly holes up there, but this came out pretty dang nice!

Basically I cut out the fabric, then the.. well I'm not sure what it is, but it's like a mix between wood and cardboard. I traced the speaker covers and cut out the deck board to the same shape and left extra fabric to roll down for a nice finish.

Yes and no. The old factory speakers were not offering me the range I was looking for. They were either good at highs or lows, but not both at the same time. So I went looking for a nice pair of three ways to drop in and found those.

Aesthetically, yes to that. I could have easily kept them under the deck where the original speakers were but I figured I'd show them off
