I'd like to replace the rear brake pads and disk rotor for 97 taurus, 3.0 ohv, sedan. Would someone please tell me which tools do I need, and how to replace it (how to move the old pads/rotor)? Thanks a lot
All you really need are some metric wrenches 13mm and 10mm, a special tool to turn the caliper in clockwise, AutoZone has them. And at least a quart of Valvoline synthetic brake fluid. Also some silicone grease for the pins. Be sure these are free of corrosion and are not stuck.
