I am a straight up newbie here and can use some help... I am trying to remove the headrests on the front two seats of my 1994 Ford Taurus and can't figure out the secret. If anyone knows or can direct me to a thread that may have addressed already (I looked and can't find one), I would be really appreciative.

I tried that and broke all four of the retainers. I got some new (not broken) ones at PYP and to remove them, I took the cover of the seat back. Those things are in there really weird.

I have unscrewed those things with no luck. I have looked for the "u" clip others have spoke of in the other posts but can't find those. Like Rude Dog, I am afraid of breaking the four posts......

By the way, thanks for posting and I appreciate all the advice.
