I saw in somebodys garage here that they removed the coin and cupholder from their either gen 2 taurus or sable, cant remember which. how do i go about removing it without breaking anything. he put in a SHO little storage compartment thing, which i plan to also do. so how do i remove this?

You need a pair of "din pins" they are also used to remove your stock sterio.

Mine had some trouble getting out w/ the radio removal tools alone. IIRC, I used a screwdriver and stuck it in the side to pry it out after using the radio removal tools to trigger the spring in the side.

In my g/f's G2 , I found if you slide out both trays, grab them by the sides, and slowly but firmly pull the trays towards yourself and to the right you can pop out the left side , then the right comes out with ease. Haven't broken anything off, and I've done it a few times with no problems.

I talked about thisin my garage! It was in my fm modulator mod! I used the radio removal tools! See I'm a little late but it looked like you got good advice and you got the job done!
