I have a 93 LX wagon (Gen II) and my speedometer cable went bad. I need to change it and started yesterday only to have a problem removing the instrument cluster. I removed the Instrument Cluster Trim piece, the steering cloumn trim pieces and had the instrument cluster totally disconnected, electrically and the speedo cable. My problem was I couldn't get the inst cluster out of the dash. Do I need to drop the steering column? Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
