While trying to diagnose some cooling fan issues, I pulled out the High and Low Fan Relays to see if they looked alright. In a senior moment, I forgot which was which! One is 5 pin and the other is 4 pin and now I don't know where to put them.

Went to my local junk yard and found one Taurus with what seemed the same fuses, but both the fuses in that box were five pin! It was not a Duratec engine like mine, so that may be the reason.

Does anyone know what relay goes where for the Hi & Lo relays? Is there somewhere that specifies by the number on the relay what goes where? I can't find anything to specify the proper relay for each socket.

Thanks for any help.

^ Fwiw, I checked Rockauto.com online for radiator fan relays (hi/lo) for your '04 tec and all they showed were the 5-bladed ones...

I appreciate both your replies, guess I'll just use the 5 pins and hope it knows which to use!
