I have a mach, but this could apply to any I suppose..

Has anyone experimented with providing better + power to the rcu? It seems like there'd be an advantage to running a larger wire the 15 feet back to the rcu -- or is the ~18ga factory power wire enough? Anyone think this would be worth my time?

Mach amp is only 80 Watts total peak, which translates into roughly 45 or so Watts RMS. Assuming even the 80 W peak, that is only about a max amp draw of 5.7 Amps peak at 14 Volts, and average (RMS) draw of around 3.5 Amps, which is less than the amp draw of one headlight, or the Amp draw of both brake lights. In other words, the stock 12 Volt supply wire is just fine.
