I have a 1998 Taurus Wagon with the 3.0 liter Vulcan engine. I have coolant dripping out onto the ground and it appears it may be coming from the radiator. As I find it difficult to even see the radiator, what steps are involved in removing it? Someone told me the front bumper has to come off!

Are you sure you need to replace the whole assembly? Did you check all the hoses first?

And yes, the bumper needs to come off in order to get to the radiator.

I will check as much as I can to find out where the leak is but I wanted to be prepared if I have to remove the radiator. I found it hard to believe when someone told me that I would have to remove a bumper to get at the radiator with a car as large as the Taurus. You got love those car designers.
