Racing Seats For 2000 Taurus Se

Just want to get an opinion from everyone... I purchased a set of Leather Racing Seats... look awesome.. here is the pic..

I purchased the Tan one well because I have tan interior or whatever... the only down fall from the seats is they are not powered.. so really the only thing I have to move is power pedals.. but for that I can switch dashes with a 2003 which already has the button on the dash so I just need to run the wiring.. they come with there own track and everything.. let me know what you all think about these bad mamajamas

Oh sorry for not posting that part... well they cost about $199 each..which I think is an awesome price.. and my buddy found them at a website.. I believe it's www.autoaccessorystore.com.. they have alot of stuff for taurus's.. and for those of you all looking for white face speedometers and stuff.. this is the place to go..

very very nice.

If it were me though, i would go with cloth racing seats...maybe a two-tone black with tan or vise versa...*rubs chin*

you probably could do that.. but it may require some stichin..I bought these seats mainly for luxury and racing look... cause I am now doing work to my engine..

So happy so I am trying to get a nice look on the interior going..

They have glow gauges for a 01 taurus.. would it fit my 03 ya think?!?!

I was thinking about changing seats for a long long time. I have 00 LX model, so I got nothing that is f-in power (just windows). You might just inspire me to do mine.

Is there any way you could take a picture of how they look in the car? I want to see how high of the "wife acceptance factor" those seats would have. I also wonder how comfortable they are on long trips.
I finaly struck a deal with my "better half" that any extra money I make from my moonlighting I can send into the car (I run operations for my company, but from time to time I take computer and software projects to make some extra cash). So I am getting happy now, since I got some comming up

I have no idea man.. go on the site and look for the gauges........

and about the pics.. working on them... my camera finally kicked the bucket so I am waitin for some extra cash.. The feel of the seats are awesome.. you mold right into it.. it's awesome..

Those gauges should fit your 03. Usually all 00-04 parts are interchangeable.

I would not claim that all 00-04 part are interchanegable (for example breakes are different from 01 and up). 01-02-03 interchangable, 00 and 04 check before you buy.
My mother-in-law has 04 and 01, I got 00, good example - color coding of wires by the audio guts in the trunk is different in all 3 cars.

its not possible to mount those seats on your power seat rails?? just do some drilling just a thought

it could be possible.. idk.. but then i gotta take out the switches for the power seat and this and that.. to much of a hassle... anyways I have my seat as far back and possible cause I'm a big guy so I dont plan on moving anything... idk.. i might look into it.. the only thing I am gonna remount is the power pedals... gonna get like a 2003 dash and wire everything up there..
