how much of a gap do sparkplugs need for the Duratec engine? I just got new plugs and a feeler, but I cant find the page in the manual that says how much of gap the the plugs need.

Found it!! Finaly! They did a good job hiding it in the manual.

OK, now that I've found the gap distance, where are the other 3 plugs!? I only see 3, and its a V6, so obviously, there are 3 more somewhere. I imagine they're burried deep behind the engine just to piss off the people who are the do-it-yourselfers.

The question is- where are the first 3 plugs and how do I get to them?

i'm guessing you replaced the front 3 right?

hmmm, follow the plug wires to the rear or do you have coil over plug. tough call without having it infront of me. I bet there is a maintenance writeup for this if you look around.

if you have the duratec then they are behind the intake I believe.

Im not about to mess with taking off the upper intake manifold again. I did that once to paint it- never again.
