So what happened to have let the manifold come loose? Was the bolt not torqued properly or was the threads stripped in the compressor? Or am I not seeing what actually happened..
You need to see if the threading in the compressor is bad. Do you still have the bolt? If the compressor worked just after you did your work then it should still be ok now. You can always install a helicoil thread repair kit to solve the damaged threading. Maybe something similar to this.
If the clutch plate rotates then you can use that to add oil but I always had trouble adding oil there. I would think you are ok as far as dirt but you will need to vacuum long time to pull the moisture out.
