Well if you have seen any of my other stuff on here I have done a few things to my car....

MOMO pedals
Indiglo gauges & LED bulbs
Color match dash
Kenwood DVD player W/ 7" monitor
Kenwood navigation system
PS2
And other little things.

Now the fun starts.
I am doing all my fiberglass work myself and this is my first project.

It is a custom mount for one of five LCD monitors going into my car. This is my first real fiberglass project. Its not too bad but I am still learning.

I asked about color before and while I was at Wal-mart I found this paint and I thought I would give it a try.

Here are a few more pics of it in and out of the car.

Nice job man. Looks pretty sweet. Wish I could do cool stuff with fiberglass. BTW, hide those wires in the bottom pic and it will look even better...

it is just sitting there I have not bolted it down I just needed to get in before it rained so I slapped it in and took some pics.

I will be making another one with two Pioneer monitors in it if anyone is interested in one.

First I sanded the parts with 220grit paper. Then I put on some primer and when it was dry I went over it quick with the 220 the 320 grit. Then if there are no flaws in it you can sand it with 400 grit. If you find spots that need help spray it again with primer and sand with 400 grit. Then you need to clean it really good. I went to wal-mart to find the paint I needed. It was Dupli-color frost silver I think. They should have a chart there to help you with the color. Put a few light coats on.sand with 400 if needed, let it dry between coats, and when you have it the color you want let it dry really good before you try to put it on. If you try to rush it you will mess it up when you put it back together. I hope that helps.

Ya, it was about the only one I could use and it fits so well too. I have started the back monitor already. It is going to look so nice.

Those are melted on they are alot harder to get off then you think. I am going to do mine I will keep you posted on it.

Funny thing is there is very little fiberglass in it, most of it is fleece.
