So basically I am having some problems with my climate control and radio and I want to know how to fix it. Every now and then, for no apparent reason my front defroster will turn on full blast and the highest temperature and I have no control over it. The head unit locks up and I cannot do anything. The radio will also lock and stay on whatever station I was on and at the same volume so I am guessing the problem is with the whole unit. Any help is appreciated thanks!!

The whole unit is going bad. You need to replace it.

oh sorry! i thought i did....my windows will lock up as well and i checked my fuses and they are fine and its not the motors because they work fine...i dont know what it could be

Possibly the transmission range sensor.

I don't know how it does it, but when the TRS goes south, everything goes loopy.

It's the black sensor that is attacked onto the top of the transmission that the shifter linkage attaches to. It's fairly easy to remove. The shifter linkage is a 13mm. I never removed mine so the rest you'll have to figure out yourself. It's about a 44 dollar part if I remember correctly.
