How do you stereo people get the power to the trunk? I'm needing somewhere on the order of 40 Amps in the trunk - and no it's not any kick-a** stereo - I have a Mach stereo in my 1998 bull and don't need anything more. I have simple tastes.

It's a Motorola Syntor X two-way radio. 110 watts RF. There's two parts to this radio - a "head" which will likely go up under the dash on the passenger side under the glovebox - and a "drawer" unit with is about 30-40 lbs that is normally mounted in the trunk.

After seeing the pics on here with stereo amps mounted to the backseats I thought that Syntor would mount nicely onto there. How are those backseats supported? Wood? Metal? Plastic? What's the best way to get 40 amps of power to the trunk?

It should be a simple matter of rnning a power cable under the door sill plates then under the rear seat.

On where to come through the firewall you'll have to ask some of the Gen3 guys around here.

Yup, just go under the door sills - that's what I did. There are a few places to come through the firewall thru existing holes - can't remember where they were in my G3 though.
I found the one I used with a coat hanger though, lol - that was the only way I could fish it because the hole was up behind the dash, but there was enough of an opening to get it down through. IIRC it was behind the glovebox someplace - taking out the glovebox door thing will help.
