I changed my power steering fluid last week. I decided to use the turkey baster method, cuz my apartment complex has this HUGE rule book about what you can and can't do. Anyways, while I was in there, I noticed that my power steering pump whines a lot. Belt looks almost brand new although to my knowledge it's never been changed. I know in the old days, this used to mean power steering pump replacement time. Is that still what it means, or do our pumps just need some cheese and crackers to go with that whine?
