When you guys find a power seat in the junkyard, how do you go about moving the seat either forward or back to loosen the bolts for removal?
I have a power plug that I can use to hook to the seat, how would you suggest I get power to the seat.

Most junk yards have power packs you can borrow to move the seat to get at the bolts.

I have a portable jump start box. You can clamp the jumper cable ends to the under hood battery terminals / cables and you are good to go. Just make sure the positive doesn't touch any bare metal on the car.

I have one of those chargers that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket...would that work?

Probably not. I would just take the battery out and use some small jumper wires using the battery.
