Yes, as I briefly touched upon in the other thread.....

Canyon Gate went back to hassling the pizza guys.

Now, bear with me, this has been a good six months, and I honestly didn't think to add it on here.

But Mr. Curl got ugly with Tiburon Man. They started being total jack-wads about who goes in and out of their elitist, fascist community, and Tiburon Man got the best of it.

You have to understand, he's a fast one. He'll really roll out to run the pie. He's also every bit as excitable as me. Anyway, Curl decided to hold him up one night at the gate, and get rude. So, Tiburon Man, following an example (no names shall be mentioned here) got out of the car, and went up to Mr. Curl, and got in his face about it. One thing led to another, and a memory of the "******* in the black Taurus" was hashed. Mr. Curl determined that he ought to finish the job he never got around to starting.

Boy, did he pick a bad battle. Tiburon Man is shorter than me, but a bit stockier, and believe me, built like a brick ****-house. Mr. Curl shoved him, and Tiburon Man gave him a nice crack on the jaw for it. Mr. Curl went down like a sack of potatoes.

Thanks to a couple of witnesses (the security guard, and a resident) Tiburon Man was not charged, as it was determined that he was acting in self defense, and that Mr. Curl had indeed started it. Also, it was brought up again to the homeowner's association, and they determined that with the fracas I was in, as well as a few other complaints, Mr. Curl was removed from the board.

So, all's well that ends well. I did speak to the crew at Papa John's about a month ago, and they all miss the enjoyment that I had brought them on the job, as well as the occasional excitability. I was informed, though, that the regional manager breathed a HUGE sigh of relief the day I put in my resignation.

And gang, thanks again. Like I said before, I'm touched and honored that you all enjoyed this as much as you did.

Tim, I'm glad Mr. Curl finally got what he deserved! Even though I came on after these stories, I have already read the 12 page thread early on and enjoyed every minute of it!

Definitely stick to your writing style for any stories in the future :thumb: You know everyone here loves having that 5-minute "Zorin Moment" read during our days

Goddamn!!!!!!!!!

I've been reading this for over an hour!!!

Am I over tipping???

I typically leave at least a $5-10 tip for whoever takes the time to come to my house, and greet me! Maybe this is why they are so nice when I order food. :p
(Think I only left a $5 tip because the person was slow, and left his car running blasting rap music, but I'm sorry, you can at least tone it down so it doesn't wake people up)

Gotta say this is one of the best reads on TCCA ever.

My dear God, I should go back to managing a Taco Bell. Zorin you have all the respect in the world from me..... And I laughed for all of the 3 or 4 hours I read this.... You should definatly look into something reality show like cause this thread was prolly the best thing i have read ever, anywhere. Awesome and total pwnage!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I have to type my lowly taco time story. I worked at a Taco Bell in Jersey for 5 yrs. It was fun... good people... good bosses... totally retarded customers. The 2 stories I remember were these...

Easter Morning. Our store didn't have a breakfast menu so at 10am we're getting ready to open at 11am. I had my drivethru headset on. My employees were doing what needed to be done and my other D/T person had just put on his headset. BONG!! A car pulls up. This should be interesting...
"Yes??" I ask... Knowing what the question is. But I was not ready for the answer.
"Can I have a Crossianwich with sausage and french toast sticks and 2 sr. coffees please?" Obviously an old guy back from church.
"Sir we don't have a breakfast menu.... wait.. a crossianwich did you say?"
"Yes! I want a crossianwich! What do you mean you don't have a breakfast menu?? You people always have breakfast! This IS Burger KIng, right?" A lil irate by now I suppose.
"Actually this is Taco Bell and we're not open for another hour. You have pulled into the wrong driveway as the place you seek is next door." Which it was. Right next door.
"Ohhhh ****!" he exclamed. I can can hear him pull away slowly so I can still hear what is said in the car.
"What the hell is wrong with you??? I told you you were in Taco Bell and you told me to hush!"
The car goes around the buliding. I wave out the window. He gives me the finger!! A church going old guy. I watch as he pulls out of my store and drives right by the Burger King without stopping. Guess he decided breakfast was a bad idea.

The other one was on a Saturday nite around 10pm. Almost closing time for the lobby. 3 punk teenage idiots came in and trashed the lobby. Destryoed it. Soda everywhere and all. We had just cleaned it. ********. Anywho, I told them the only way they were getting out of my buliding was to either apolgize or clean it.
"**** you, we can just unlock it **** hole." He's right. They unlock it and run to thier car. 5 minutes later a car pulls up to the window. Had no idea it was the same idiots. I open it and go to ask what was wrong and the driver throws his entire large pepsi at me and drives off. Soaks me. I write down his plate. I call the lovely Stafford Township Police Dept. who promptly tell me that the 3 teens were ALREADY pulled over for speeding about 2 miles west of me. I tell the dispatcher that I won't press charges for whatever I thought of if they came back to the store and cleaned my lobby. The cops told this to them and were escorted back to my store and promptly mopped the floors.

True story....

Mine are nowhere as good as Zorin's but I had to tell these..... :notworthy:

Yes, I remember reading these, don't think I ever commented really, but freaking awesome and funny. I love your idea of grabbing that kid that wanted to rob your car and dragging him. Gives me an idea if anyone ever does that to me. LOL

OK, let's get a few things straight.

1. Pizza delivery is a **** job.

2. Pizza delivery puts you in touch with a lot of people whom you'd really rather not know existed.

3. Pizza delivery will kill a car just as fast as using one for a taxicab.

4. There's not a hell of a lot of money in it.

OK, that said.....

Keep in mind:

1. I took this job because I needed something coming in.

2. I did what I did, because I hate the average idiot consumer. You will find most of these ordering pizza.

3. I would HIGHLY recommend against doing what I did.

4. Unless you have the skills, and the ability to dispense a thorough ass-whipping, do not do what I did.

5. If you mind taking an ass whipping, do not do what I did.

6. If you are a meek person, do not do what I did.

7. If you don't have the balls to tell the high school bully to go **** himself, do not do what I did.

8. If you do not have a problem with authority, do not do what I did.

9. If you're not able to think fast on your feet (trust me, this is required) do not do what I did.

10. If you always think before you speak, you will derive no pleasure trying to do what I did.

Please, take no offense to the statements made above. Some folks'll sugar-coat **** for ya, not me. I'll take the nasty bag of snakes, and lay 'em out straight for ya.

It also helps to be somewhat reactionary, too. Big thing is, there's a super fine line.......you step over it, no telling what could happen.

But hey, if this didn't discourage you, and you think you got it nailed down, by all means, more power to ya.

HaHa...great stories, Zorin! I think the only thing that would suck more that delivering pizza's is 24 hr towing! You guys ever wonder why tow guys carry guns 90% of the time? I know the answer to that! LOL

Thanks....I think.

And honestly, my current job is actually quite fulfilling. Sure, we have those days where you get a dumb ****, but hey, I can't make racket about the oddball occurrence.....these things'll happen.

Wow, old thread.... well, might as well keep it going!

Tips: So I'm delivering pizza in College. (North Bay Ontario Canada) and I get a delivery to this place on Thibault Hill. GIANT fucking house with a circular drive and $80,000 cars in the yard. It's new year's eve, and the place is-a-rockin'. So I see the big house and big cars and think "Well, here's a no-tipper!" Guy answers the door, and pays for his pizza. It was about $100. (Big party) I say thank you, and he says "here, this is for you, happy new year!" and hands me a $100 dollar bill! I'm shocked, and say to him "Are you sure you want to tip this much?" and he says "absolutely. You guys deserve it."
I get back to the store and tell the guys about it, and come to find out that the house I delivered to was the mayor of the city! Guess who got my vote in the next election? (BTW, that night, I worked from 4pm - 4am and walked away with almost $500 in pay and tips. New year's is one of the best nights in the business)
