Red is illegal in California. You should know that, your  a CA guy arent you? No red or blue is allowed in CA.

  You can't see these during the day when the car is off and the lights are off. But with them on, yeah, they are visible.

  No, the white lights don't improve visibility. They are the same intensity as the amber bulbs. Try driving down the road with your parking lights on. Then imagine that light white. Thats how it looks.

I had no clue red was illegal. I was only told, and read about blue lights being illegal. I can't possibly imagine red being illegal for running lights. For headlights, possibly so, but I'd be amazed if it was illegal.[/b]
