I don't have a haynes or Chiltons and have a question.

I have a 2000 Vulcan and gonna replace PCV valve. Where exactly is it? I searched and read on rear valve cover. Does that mean that it is at rear of engine bay? Standing at front of car is it visible? Or can you tell me how to find it?

I am also gonna Seafoam my engine. Where is the hose located that every uses?

Thanks

The rear valve cover is at the rear of the engine - near the windshield. Stand next to the passenger side fenderwell and look at the rear valve cover. You will be able to see a black rubber hose connected to a small silver canister that is inserted into the valve cover with a rubber grommet. That little canister is the PCV valve.

The PCV is located in the rear valve cover, on the left side as stated before. It is under the upper intake and hidden by it in a way, so you may need to stick your hand back there to feel around for it. There is a detailed pic in the archive section that Bob sent me.
