So I just replaced my stock alternator with a 270a Mechman alternator and I'm not seeing any improvement on the voltage/amperage I'm seeing. I read up and saw in a thread SantaClawz has made that someone had mentioned that you can cut the light blue/red wire and ground it somewhere and that will bypass the PCM regulating the charging. Has anyone done this? I'm not skeptical it will work I just wanna see if anyone else has done this and had success.

I just bought an internally regulated 320a alt and bypassed the whole harness
