After watching The Fast and The Furious again (don't ask), I feel a bit of inspiration coming on. You know how that RX-7 had it's nitrous bottles and valves under the passenger seat, with the top of the seat cut out for access? Well, I was thinking of modifying my passenger seat, but instead of nitrous, I'd put something else there, like a video game system, or maybe a really small fridge?

I'm pretty sure it would call for some custom upholstry work (in order to cover the sides of the cut out so it doesn't look like garbage), and some other various work, but it doesn't seem to difficult. I have a friend who owns an upholstry shop, so that's not a problem. What do you all think?

Ohh i think that you're going to have a hell of a time using it if you have someone riding in the car with you..

Most of the time, I'm driving alone, but even then, you can get something before they sit down.... or if I put a ps2 or something flashy under there to show off.....i'm still planning

You're going to have to make the seat a fixed position seat so you can have space under the cushion for anything. The locking mechanism for the seat tracks are in the way. I think anything bigger than a PS1 will also cut into the space under the seat for a rear-passenger's feet.

Be sure no one else can see your ps2 if you're putting that in.. cuz you know people love to steal stuff.

Maybe my gamecube is in order for the seat, or maybe just a DVD Changer, it doesn't really matter what gets put there, the fact that it will open up is the main point.

Try to find pictures of the Diesel's RX interior and see how they did it. It doesn't seem to complicated, but you will have to do some fabrication work. If you are okay with that, it sounds excellent!

but seriously, if you wanna put a fridge under there.. have it accessable from like the front or back or both then ull be talkin...and the top.. so if you are alone just open the top.. if you arent.. then open the front

Well, I'm all for it, but I probably wont have this car, so it'll have to wait until I get my new bull (yes, no more antelope for me).
