Help!
Yesterday, when my husband put the car in to reverse, this pin thing fell out and hit his foot. A moment later when he put it in to drive, this other part fell out! Does any one know what this is?!?!

That resembles much like the end of the shift lever. Does anything not work ? Does it shift still?

Make friends with a mechanic or make other arrangement for transportation!! I am just sayin you need help!!!
