I have a 2000 SE-S with the 24v DOHC Duratec engine.

I can't seem to get the right part number for a correct COP replacement. I looked it up on RockAuto and I get DG532 and DG535. The picture shows me what I want, but the part is actually a rectangular brick shaped object with six holes as if I had spark plug cables.

Thanks for any help.

Apparently the Part Number I was looking for was DG500 or DG486.

Does anyone know what the difference is and if the cheaper DG486 is a good match for my 2000 Taurus SE-S with Duratec?

I am being told that these two parts are interchangeable.

I don't know why one is often sold for less than the other.
