the title says it all, I can push it down just fine but she has trouble pushing it down lol, I would like to know if there is any procedure to make the brake go down easier. Its a 1989 taurus with rear drums and 33,000 original miles lol

New parking brake cables, lube the pedal assembly, and take a look at the rear brakes to see if everything is operating properly.

I think the only thing you can do is just get her stronger. sometimes the cable rusts up, or gets buildup on it. Get up under the car and shoot some tri-flow or WD-40 into it. Lube up all the parts the move to activate the Parking brakes.

Good luck.
